Rumors and anticipation have been swirling endlessly around Marvel’s upcoming Captain Marvel. There’s a ton of hype for the film, especially since it’s the movie studio’s first female-led superhero flick. Finally, official promotion for Captain Marvel is underway!
Just the other day Brie Larson talked to Entertainment Weekly and said there was a big Captain Marvel-related announcement in the works. That announcement has arrived in the form of the first official look of Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel in her superhero outfit.
Debuting on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, Captain Marvel is there to be seen in all her glory! I gotta say, she looks rather excellent! Along with this promo image, EW wrote up an accompanying article that features a ton of pictures and teasers. The images provide a look at the Kree, Jude Law as Captain Mar-Vell, and Monica Rambeau, who’d later go on to be Captain Marvel (along with half a dozen other superhero aliases) too.
And so it begins! It’s only a matter of time until a Captain Marvel trailer drops, so get ready!
Directed by Anna Boden, Captain Marvel flies into theaters on March 8, 2019.
