With his work adored by millions, there are few comic book artists on the level of Jim Lee. A master at his craft, his comic book artwork has become the stuff of legend. For DC’s new Justice League series, written by Scott Snyder and illustrated by Jorge Jimenez and Alejandro Sanchez, Jim Lee has been drawing variant covers for each issue.

For Justice League #1, Lee drew Batman, issue #2 featured Martian Manhunter, issue #3 is going to have Hawkgirl, and now we’re taking look at his variant for issue #4.

Practically leaping off the page, armed for battle, is the Amazon Princess Wonder Woman! Armed with a sword a shield, along with a look of steely resolve, the detail and attention to her features is exquisite.

As a fan of Jim Lee and his work, I’m definitely going to try to get my hands on this variant when it comes out on July 18th.
