Having never read the graphic novel, I find that I’m in no position to say whether or not the movie looks faithful to its literary counterpart. That said, I think it’s worth noting that I am greatly intrigued by this movie. It’s nice to see how Priest is putting the vamp back in vampires, with none of the ridiculous sexiness that has come to define the genre. The trailer’s musical score is a tad overdone, but still aids in making the movie appear epic. Personally I preferred the first trailer, but since I don’t feel like posting two trailers on Priest, you’re going to have to settle for the second trailer.
