The clip, while enjoyable, shows hardly anything notable. Sure, we get to see the Doctor’s new companion Amy Pond as a young girl, but I want more! Regardless, the bit here clearly follows off from where the last season ended, with the TARDIS spiraling out of commission due to the 10th Doctor’s regeneration, and now has landed, rather harshly it seems.

I never really had any doubts about Matt Smith as the Doctor and I still don’t. He seems as eccentric as the character should be and the fact that Stephen Moffat has taken control of the writing for the show makes everyone feel quite happy.

So even though the clip does not really impress me, it has gotten me ready for what I assume will be 13 episodes of unbelievable Doctor Who awesomeness .
